An Early Rise
In the faint glimmer of light that precedes dawn, I rose, dressed casually and scooped up my gear for this early morning sunrise shoot. I met the Autagavaia family, freshly presented and looking surprisingly awake at the base of Māngere Mountain shortly after 6am. We climbed, tried our best to ignore the mild summer chill of dawn and spent a wonderful time together.

Tips from this shoot - pack clean snacks for the kids, a tissue or two, and if you're bringing your pet, pick a location where they can freely roam.
